Two guys find out the hard way that sneaking into the wrong party can cause serious problems in this comedy.
Jeremy Klein (Vince Vaughn) and John Beckwith (Owen Wilson) are a pair of longtime friends who work for a law firm, helping contentious couples mediate their divorces.
Their job has given them a cynical attitude about marriage, and as a hobby each weekend the two make a point of crashing weddings reception, where they load up on free food and booze and try their luck at seducing the bridesmaids.
When William Cleary (Christopher Walken), the nation’s Secretary of the Treasury and a possible candidate for the Presidency, announces his daughter is to wed, the nuptials are billed as the social event of the year, and Jeremy and John decide they must attend the reception.
However, John makes the mistake of falling head over heels for Claire (Rachel McAdams), the bride’s sister, while Jeremy attracts the attentions of a woman he’d prefer not to be involved with, and soon their romantic peccadilloes get them in very hot water. |

When a bumbling movie lover becomes magnetized while attempting to sabotage a local power plant and accidentally erases all of the videotapes in the small video store where his best friend works, the pair attempt to keep the store’s loyal customer base by remaking as many of the top-renting movies as possible.
Mike (Mos Def) is an employee at Be Kind Rewind, a modest mom and pop video store that is owned by Mr.
Fletcher (Danny Glover).
Mike’s best friend Jerry (Jack Black) works in an auto garage/junkyard directly adjacent to a local power plant.
Lately Jerry has become increasingly paranoid about the effects that the power plant is having on his health.
Convinced that he has developed a brain tumor from working in such close proximity to the power plant, Jerry attempts to sabotage the plant.
Unfortunately for Jerry, his brain is magnetized in the process.
The next time Jerry goes to visit Mike at Be Kind Rewind, the powerful magnetization emanating from his brain erases every videotape in the store.
Now the only way for Mike and Jerry to be sure that Be Kind Rewind stays in business is to remake every film on the shelves before the customers notice.
But when word gets out that Mike and Jerry have remade such Hollywood classics as Back to the Future, Robocop, The Lion King, and Rush Hour without permission, the store is threatened with copyright violations and forced to close its doors.
In the aftermath of the closing, Mr.
Fletcher and his employees discover just how loyal their customers really are when the entire neighborhood pools their resources to transform the junkyard into a legitimate movie studio and produce an entirely original film detailing the incredible adventures of a local jazz legend. |

Operating under the assumption that by procuring alcohol for an upcoming party they will finally be able to break their longstanding losing streak with the fairer sex, socially inept high school seniors Evan (Michael Cera) and Seth (Jonah Hill) set out to secure the adult beverages that could get them off of the geek list before they even attend college orientation.
Evan is a bright young student whose outward sweetness belies his suffocating fear of heading off to college without his lifelong best friend Seth — a hormone-driven mischief-maker who wasn’t accepted to the same school as Evan.
But Evan and Seth both know that college is a place of personal reinvention, and that if they are able to make that first leap together they will have forged a bond powerful enough to last a lifetime.

Comic actor Ben Stiller co-wrote, directed, and stars in this spoof of the fashion industry that began as a short skit for the 1996 VH1 Fashion Awards.
Stiller is Derek Zoolander, an intellectually challenged but bone structure-blessed male model who’s despondent after being eclipsed in popularity by an equally vacuous rival, Hansel (Owen Wilson).
Upon his reluctant retirement, Derek is invited to a day spa by previously standoffish fashion designer Jacobim Mugatu (Will Ferrell), where the befuddled model is brainwashed by the mysterious Katinka (Milla Jovovich) into assassinating the prime minister of Malaysia.
In addition to Stiller’s real-life wife Christine Taylor, Zoolander co-stars his father Jerry Stiller, along with Jon Voight, David Duchovny, Andy Dick, and Fabio. |

From its opening multi-language titles (that sure looks like Swedish) to the closing arrest of the entire Dark Ages cast by modern-day bobbies, Monty Python and the Holy Grail helped to define “irreverence” and became an instant cult classic.
This time the Pythonites savage the legend of King Arthur, juxtaposing some excellently selected exterior locations with an unending stream of anachronistic one-liners, non sequiturs, and slapstick set pieces.
The Knights of the Round Table set off in search of the Holy Grail on foot, as their lackeys make clippety-clop sounds with coconut shells.
A plague-ridden community, ringing with the cry of “bring out your dead,” offers its hale and hearty citizens to the body piles.
A wedding of convenience is attacked by Arthur’s minions while the pasty-faced groom continually attempts to burst into song.
The good guys are nearly thwarted by the dreaded, tree-shaped “Knights Who Say Ni!” A feisty enemy warrior, bloodily shorn of his arms and legs in the thick of battle, threatens to bite off his opponent’s kneecap.
A French military officer shouts such taunts as “I fart in your general direction” and “I wave my private parts at your aunties.
” Rabbits are a particular obsession of the writers this time around, ranging from the huge Trojan Rabbit to the “killer bunny” that decapitates one of the knights.
Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, and Michael Palin collaborated on the script and assumed most of the onscreen roles, while Gilliam and Jones served as co-directors. |

Talbert produces, writes, and directs this urban crime comedy concerning a pair of criminals who take a group of church parishioners hostage while attempting to rob the holy house, only to find their captives slowly convincing them to repent and give up their lawless lifestyles.
Durell (Ice Cube) and LeeJohn (Tracy Morgan) are two best friends with a special knack for petty crime.
Upset at discovering that his ex-girlfriend is planning to move out of state with the couple’s young son, Durell knows that the only way to keep his fractured family in close proximity to one another is to raise the 17,000 dollars needed to pay off her growing debt.
In order to get the money before his ex decides to make the big move, the desperate Durell enlists the aid of his scheming best buddy to rob their neighborhood church.
But someone has beaten Durell and LeeJohn to the punch, and if they ever hope to get their hands on that quick cash, this bumbling pair will first have to spend an entire night in the presence of not just the almighty lord, but some of his most fervent followers as well.

Three teenagers two-timed by a local lothario decide to turn the tables on him in this romantic comedy.
John Tucker (Jesse Metcalfe) is the big man on campus at his high school — he’s the captain and star player of the basketball team, he’s got money, he’s good-looking and charming, and he can have any girl he wants.
However, the latter attribute is about to get him in serious trouble when three different girls at his school — Heather (Ashanti), Beth (Sophia Bush) and Carrie (Arielle Kebbel) — discover they’ve all been dating John at the same time.
Determined to bring down the campus ladykiller, the girls devise a plan — they pick a cute but socially clumsy girl who is new at school, Kate (Brittany Snow), and give her a crash course in stealing John’s heart.
Once Kate has John wrapped around her little finger, she’s supposed to drop him like a bad habit and give him a taste of what heartbreak is really like.
However, it seems that the early stages of the plan work a little too well, and John and Kate end up falling for each other for real.

The 20th Century Fox production was written and directed by the filmmaking team of Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer.
Sure, Leonidas may have nothing more than a cape and some leather underwear to protect him from the razor-sharp swords of his Persian enemies, but that won’t stop the brave leader and his team of 13 warriors from defending their beloved homeland against a powerful invading force that includes the likes of a mutant Paris Hilton, the Transformers, the Ghost Rider, and Rocky Balboa. |
